Pricing

Occasionally, prices on our website are lower than they are in our store. If you wish to take advantage of the prices found on our website, you will need to place an order through our site.

Glen’s Surplus Sales INC reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. This can happen when our supplier for a product has changed, when we run out of an item as surplus and re-order through a supplier, or when the supplier changes our price on the item. As a policy we try to notify customers in advance of these changes.

Shipping

Items will typically be shipped within 3 business days via USPS or UPS ground shipping (unless otherwise noted in the item details). Some items are also available via Next Day Air (or another alternate fast shipping method) which can be arranged by contacting the store via telephone or e-mail us.

Estimated Shipping Times (VALID on the continental US)

Ground Shipping: 4 – 10 Business Days.
Express Shipping: Overnight and Second Day Air available.
APO/FPO Boxes: Will be shipped using Priority Mail.

Returns

All merchandise is inspected both upon receipt by our store and before it is shipped to you to ensure that we are sending out items of the best possible quality, but from time to time a mistake may occur. In the case that the item you received was not what you were expecting, we will work with you to make arrangements for a return or exchange. In the event that you have a comment or concern about these policies, please contact the store.

In the event that a product is damaged or defective upon receipt by you, we will arrange for a replacement to be shipped out immediately. In the case that this is not possible, we will refund you for your item.

If you decide for any reason within 30 days that you would like to return an item that is without defect, you can contact us and make arrangements. We will refund you 100% of the purchase price. (this does not include shipping)

Lastly, we cannot accept returns at this time on the following items:

Electrical Items
Dog Tags
Cut Sections of Rope or Chains
Foam Bedding
Seasonal Items
Carburetors that smell of Gasoline.
Lawn Mower Blades that have been sharpened.

In the event that you need to return an item, PLEASE contact us first. While we do not require an RAC or other number to process a return, we do wish to speak with you prior to shipping an item back. To begin this process please contact us via e-mail or 1.800.634.6470. Please understand that items that are returned without contacting us prior may experience delays with refunds.

Back Orders

Here at Glen’s Surplus we proudly sell over 10,000 items in over 400 categories, some of which sell very quickly. This means that at times our inventory will run low prior to our restocking order arriving. In this case, we will ship your order as soon as we have the item back in stock.

Alternatively, if the item was a surplus item and thus not re-order able, we will contact you and arrange a way to refund you your money.

Payment Policy

We proudly accept Paypal, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card, Checks (Held Until Cleared) and Cash in the event that no other payment option is available to you.

Here at Glen’s Surplus we understand there are those who are apprehensive about using online payment methods to pay for their order. We have selected our online payment providers based on their track record and reliability. However, if you are still apprehensive about paying for your order online, please call us at 1.800.634.6470 and we will be happy to process your transaction over the phone.

Sales tax must be charged (7.25%) on all orders made by customers within the state of Ohio. No Sales Tax is added to orders made by people outside of the state.

Questionable Orders

Glen’s Surplus stocks and sells a large variety of merchandise. Because of the merchandise we sell, we are obligated by the FBI to report questionable orders placed in our store and through our website. An order would be deemed questionable by either the combination of items that are ordered at the same time, or the quantity of specific items that are ordered at the same time.

Because of this, any orders that are deemed questionable in nature may be delayed while we try to contact you to discuss the order. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause.
